Medical Conditions Treated:
Conjunctivitis – aka “pink eye” is an irritation or inflammation of the conjunctiva, which covers the white part of the eyeball. It can be caused by allergies or a bacterial or viral infection.
Glaucoma – is a condition that causes damage to your eye’s optic nerve and gets worse over time. It’s often linked to a buildup of pressure inside the eye.
Cataract – is a clouding of the lens in the eye that affects vision.
Macular Degeneration – is caused by the deterioration of the central portion of the retina, the inside back layer of the eye that records the images we see and sends them via the optic nerve from the eye to the brain. The retina’s central portion, known as the macula, is responsible for focusing central vision in the eye, and it controls our ability to read, drive a car, recognize faces or colors, and see objects in full detail.
Diabetic Eye Disease – a group of eye conditions that affect people with Diabetes. These conditions include Diabetic Retinopathy, Diabetic Macular Edema (DME), Cataract, and Glaucoma.
Ocular Lid Conditions – include inflammation, infection, benign and malignant tumors, and structural problems of the eyelid such as ectropion, entropion, and blepharoptosis.
